With an enviable pedigree in afterschool and holiday care and multiple branches across the region Simply Play needed to refresh their brand to assert their position and stay noticed in a squeezed marketplace adversely affected by Covid and the home-working revolution.
We set out to create a brand system that would capture their creative playfulness at the same time as their professional integrity. One that would grab attention and inspire confidence and also be practical and simple to use in-house across uniforms, vehicle livery and day to day communications.
Sticker and emoji style illustration assets were created based around the core activities of Simply Play. This was paired with Polaroid style photo treatments and collage elements to ensure the new branding was focussed on the concept of 'creating happy memories'.
